The Student Representative Council (SRC) elections are a vital part of student governance at our university. This is your opportunity to have a say in who represents your interests and advocates for student issues. This is also the opportunity to raise your hand and lead the student community.
Nomination Process:
- Deadline: The deadline for submitting nominations is 2 August 2024. To nominate yourself, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the UP Portal: Login to the UP Portal using your unique login credentials. Ensure you are on the main page of the Student Portal.
- Access the Student Leadership Dashboard: Navigate to the Student Leadership Dashboard Portlet on the main page.
- Select the Student Leadership Nominations Tile: Click on the tile to begin the nomination process.
- Complete Your Nomination Form: Fully complete the nomination form, ensuring all your information is correct. Select the portfolio(s) role you’d like to run for, and then submit the form.
- Check Your Nomination Status: Review the nomination status of your application via the Student Leadership Dashboard’s Leadership Nomination page.

Voting Period:
- Dates: Voting will take place from 27 to 29 August 2024. During this period, all registered students are encouraged to cast their votes. Voting takes place online and is as simple as four clicks on any electronic device #Click4Change. Every student will receive an email with the link to the voting platform on Tuesday, 27 August.
