All our campuses are centrally located along major transport hubs for easy access for people using public transport such as the Gautrain and Gautrain buses, municipal or private buses, taxis or hired cabs. UP also provides a free bus service for our students between campuses and residences.
As parking space is limited, the University relies on the assistance of all students and staff to manage parking and traffic flow effectively. Read more about the rules and availability of parking on our campuses and at residences.
We have a bus service that shuttles our students between classes to our campuses and residences. We also have a park-and-ride facility at the Hillcrest Campus to alleviate parking pressure on the Hatfield Campus.

The Hatfield and Pretoria Gautrain stations are located near the University of Pretoria’s Hatfield and Prinshof campuses, respectively, with bus routes stopping near each campus. The Hatfield station is within walking distance from the Hatfield Campus.
