The Graduate Support Hub (GSH) is a unit within the Department of Research and Innovation. It endeavours to facilitate and coordinate the processes and activities aimed at developing and supporting postgraduate students and postdoctoral fellows. This support enables them to become part of the University community and to contribute to the University’s strategic vision of being a leading research-intensive university in Africa. The GSH promotes postgraduate education and research productivity through the [email protected] Programme which facilitates research skills develpment, and workplace readiness.
In its recruitment of postgraduate candidates, the GSH focuses on providing information on postgraduate study programmes, research opportunities, funding opportunities, and research support. The postgraduate scholarship office guides current and prospective postgraduate students to various scholarship opportunities available both internally and externally.
The GSH collaborates with the academic staff in the University's nine faculties and one business school, as well as with the support units in the University Library Services, to ensure positive research training experiences that lead to relevant and high-quality research outputs that address national, regional and global research challenges.
