The purpose of this workshop is to equip UP employees at all levels to understand the importance of emotional intelligence (EI) as an indispensable life skill to develop your resilience, influence and total well-being in your work. Attendees are guided towards awareness of own strengths and shortcomings concerning EI. Emotionally intelligent behavior generates greater satisfaction in interpersonal relationships and develops creative thinking for solution-orientated problem-solving. The result is increased job satisfaction and personal fulfilment, better productivity and more respectful behavior towards colleagues and significant others. It also enhances teamwork, lowers defensiveness and builds synergy.
Join us for a four-hour morning workshop at EWP@UP to find out more about how to apply the skills to create alternative solution-focused thinking patterns, more positive attitudes and appropriate actions in order to find fulfilment in your work and personal life. This workshop is intended for employees at the Hatfield campus only.
