In their first match of the day against Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University (NMMU), TuksCricket did what they do best: they dominated!
Wily bowling from Reuben Claasen and Vincent Moore made things difficult for NMMU who managed to finish on 132/5. The Tuks batsmen remained calm and consistent, continually adding runs to the tally and closing in on the 132-run target. It was Evan Jones' six during the Power Plus that sealed the deal for Tuks.

In their second match of the day, Tuks showed their class against a determined University of the Western Cape (UWC) with a five-wicket victory. The team’s bowling performances was outstanding in the first innings and they followed that up by handling the pressure admirably at bat.
Lungi Ngidi, Vincent Moore and Roger Arendse were the standout bowlers of the match and gave spectators an exciting exhibition of T20 bowling. When Tuks’s turn came to bat, the players who really shone were Thomas Kaber, who scored 42 runs, and Evan Jones, who scored 38.

Tuks are again top of the log, two points ahead of the University of Johannesburg (UJ), whom they face on Friday, 29 January 2016 at Senwes Park at 18:00.
