TuksCricket: Two more victories at Varsity Cricket

TuksCricket played their first double-header on Tuesday, 26 January 2016 and continued their surging Varsity Cricket run when they claimed their second consecutive victory after defeating UCT by 52 runs at the NWU-Puk Oval.

That afternoon, TuksCricket had barely an hour to wipe their brows, hydrate and take to the field again for their match against Kovsies on the Ibbies Oval at 14:00.

The defending champions never lost their grip on the match against Kovsies, who were second on the log. Fine bowling by Tuks's Thomas Kaber set the foundation for their batsmen to finish off the job and set their sights on the knock-out phase early on.

Tuks won the match comfortably, reaching 133 with 15 balls to spare.
