The Argentinian delegation paid a visit to South Africa partly to attend a seminar and partly to pave the way for proposed faculties of veterinary and agricultural sciences at the INTA in the Argentine. For this reason the delegation first paid a visit to the UP’s Faculties of Veterinary and Agrarian Sciences before signing the MoU.
Said the Economic and Trade Attache of the Embassy of Argentina in South Africa, Mr Rolando H Pocovi:
“The main purpose of the visit was the introduction of faculties of veterinary and agricultural sciences to INTA, an exchange of ideas to induce cooperation, the identification of joint projects, and the signature of a MoU.”
