Elizna qualifies for Commonwealth Games - again!

Two Tukkies had personal bests at the meeting in Port Elizabeth. Maryke Oberholzer, who came second in the discuss throw registered a distance of 52.92 m. In the shot put men, where Tuks took, gold, silver and bronze, Orazio Cremona won with a PB of 19.29. Burger Lambrechts was second (19.20m) and Roelie Potgieter third (18.76m).

3000 m steeple chase: 2nd Myrette filmalter 10.31.51; 3rd Christine Kalmer 11.01.14. 400 m: 2nd Alet v Wyk 55.62; 3rd Eugenie Wicksell 55.63. 100 m: 4th Christy Coetzee 12.51. 200 m: 3rd Wenda Theron (25.15); LJ: 4th Monja Goosen 5.65 m.

Men

100 m: 4th Isaak van Wyk 10.85; 200 m: 3rd Isaak van Wyk 21.32; 3000 m steeple chase: 3rd Sikhumbuzo Seme 09.08.67.
