Another highlights was the gold medal for Andries vd Merwe in the 110m hurdles. He has now won all the major international competitions in the world for his age group for this event during 2011.
 
The 4 x 100m boy's relay not only won their final but in the process also broke the 25 year old SA Record when the team clocked a time of 41.00 seconds. Three Tuks athletes, Andries van der Merwe, Pieter Conradie and Constant Pretorius were team members of this victorious team.
 
Other great performances were the gold medal by Albert Janki in the triple jump and Constant Viljoen's silver medal in the 400m hurdles.
