Prof Thoko Majozi, of UP's Department of Chemical Engineering was awarded the South African Institution of Chemical Engineering's Bill Neal-May Gold Medal Award for Outstanding Achievement and International Recognition at a ceremony on Friday night, September 17th.
In his acceptance reply professor Majozi mentioned that he is specifically honoured by this award, since it originated in his core discipline, namely that of Chemical Engineering.
