This conference, funded by the European Union, will analyse the important link between migration, social policy and regional governance by focusing on the strengths and weaknesses of existing approaches in Europe and Africa. It brings together some of the world’s leading scholars in the field and the main representatives of civil society organisations and intergovernmental agencies.
Speakers will include Prof Luk van Langenhove (United Nations University, Bruges), Dr Alexander Betts (Oxford), Dr John Oucho (Nairobi) and Dr Guy Nono (Douala, Cameroon).
The event will be held in Room L1-76 of the UP Postgraduate Centre (Building 52 on the campus map).
