She received her first NRF rating in 2006 and is currently a C2-rated researcher. She has published numerous articles in accredited journals in the fields of communication, marketing and related areas, delivered six doctoral students and sixteen full master’s dissertations, contributed to various textbooks and delivered several papers at international conferences in Eastern Europe, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, the USA and Hawaii. She also lectured at the University of Miami in 2010.

Prof Grobler is an accomplished communication and marketing practitioner, with ten years industry experience earned from her highly successful consultancy practice, which served national and international clients.

Prof Grobler is an experienced manager and in her current position as Head of the Communication Management Division, which is seated in the Department of Business Management, has successfully implemented practical interventions to improve the research outputs of the Division. In addition she is active in a number of external activities in her field of expertise and has well-established national and international connections.
