We surely came to a crossroads regarding the size and support from everybody, delegates and sponsors included. The growing number of delegates as well as sponsors promises great things for the future. The Paediatric Intensive Care Workshop, in fact, was oversubscribed almost twice, showing the need for such events in our region. Delegates came from all over the country with some from as far away as Canada!

Prof Robin Green, Head of the Department of Paediatrics at UP, mentioned that the quality of presentations equalled and surpassed those of many overseas functions that he had attended over the years. Apart from Prof Savvas Andronikou and Prof Prakash Jeena, many other local experts shared their expertise with us.

We are truly thankful for the unprecedented support and hope that we can count on everyone’s participation in next year’s meeting.
