Michelle Obama in her keynote address at Regina Mundi in Soweto this week, made a special mention of Gqibelo Dandala, a GIBS Social Entrepreneurship Certificate Programme graduate and current Nexus delegate, as she related how Africans can make a difference in people’s lives. Gqibelo runs the Future of the African Daughter Project whose aim is to guide young girls from previously disadvantaged communities to begin taking charge of their world. Here’s to GIBS alumni as a measure of future and current greatness!
