Module content | This elective aims to introduce students to the theoretical foundation of modern portfolio theory, the important types of investments, the different types of investors and the diversity of investment objectives. The theoretical foundation will be understood through an introduction to the mathematics of portfolio construction and diversification which will guide students’ understanding of equity portfolio management strategies and portfolio performance evaluation. |
