Module content | The module involves the in depth study of environmental and occupational hygiene measuring techniques. The focus of this module is the theoretical principles and the practical application of measuring techniques used to conduct environmental and occupational hygiene surveys. Relevant standards and guidelines to determine legal compliance are also discussed. Students must also complete practical coursework in the air quality laboratory to obtain competency in occupational hygiene equipment, calculations and interpretation of occupational hygiene survey results. Students will have to take a competency test after completing all practical coursework. |
