• Submit requests 10 days before your examinations to your lecturer/programme coordinator.

Extra-time venues – see table below. If an overflow occurs, invigilators will guide you to the nearest available room. (Departmental arrangements remain unchanged.)

Arrival times & attendance

• Sit-down examinations: Arrive 30 minutes early.
• Online examinations: Log in 10 minutes early.
• Late arrivals
  • Less than 30 minutes:  You may write, but no extra time.
  • More than 30 minutes: You may not write.
  • Attendance marked via scanning at venue

What to bring

• Bring your student card - no card, no entry.
• Stationery in transparent bags.
• Electronics (cell phones, electronics, and smart wearables) – switched off and placed under desk.
• No back check-in – keep bags under your desk.
• ️ The University is not responsible for lost or damaged belongings.

Campus & Transport

• Student card for access
• Updated bus schedules on ClickUP.
• Buses operate between:
  • Hatfield, Groenkloof, and Prinshof
  • Sunnyside/Arcadia, - Hatfield (transfer for Groenkloof)

Loadshedding & power interruptions

• Sit-down examinations: Follow invigilator instructions.
• Online examinations: Get affidavit and proof from Eskom/municipality. Submit to your faculty.

Missed an examination?

• Contact your Faculty Administration, lecturer and department immediately.
