The Special Collections Book of the Week this week is:

Social Justice Stories: Young People Reflect on HIV, Sexualities, Gender, Race and Inequality, edited by Bettina Baubeng-Baidoo & Pierre Brouard.

This book is the result of a partnership between young people, the South African School Debating Board and the Centre for Sexualities, AIDS and Gender (CSA&G) at the University of Pretoria; through its ‘Just Leaders’ student volunteer programme. The energy and enthusiasm and sense of justice in young people is infectious and critical to a functioning society based on freedom of speech, fairness and dignity, determined to redress the imbalances of the past.

A digital copy of the book is available for download from: www.csagup.org

Access: https://univofpretoria.on.worldcat.org/oclc/1348992656
