Water Supply Interruption
Area: Groenkloof, Hatfield, Hillcrest, and Prinshof Campuses
Buildings affected: All Buildings
Dates: Friday, 26 July 2024 to Sunday, 28 July 2024
Please take note of a planned Rand Water/City of Tshwane water supply interruption scheduled for three days and 5 hours. Rand Water will embark on the last phase of its infrastructure maintenance on its systems that supply water to the City of Tshwane.
Klapperkop Reservoir will affect:

Garsfontein Reservoir will affect:

Mamelodi Campus
Wonderboom Reservoir will affect

Onderstepoort Campus
Please note that there is no communication for Hatfield and Hillcrest Campuses but we urge you to use the water sparingly as these campuses might be affected as well.
The City of Tshwane is urging all its residents to reduce water consumption as this will allow the city to fill its reservoirs which will be affected to maximum capacity and throttle the outflow to try to keep the supply for the duration of the maintenance.
All buildings with backup water tanks to use water sparingly to assist them with the operations. Buildings without backup water tanks are requested to create job cards for the flow bins and for the Plumbing Workshop to fill the bins timeously.
Please do not leave the taps open as this will result in flooding of the buildings when the water returns.
