I am pleased to announce the release of five Human Resources (HR) Policy videos in both Afrikaans and Zulu, following on from last year’s release of the English and Sepedi versions. An additional video on the “Policy on Policies” is also available. The aim of these videos is to increase awareness around key HR policies and to direct staff to the UP Portal to read the full policies. This initiative is the outcome of a request made by the Unions in 2022.

The following policies are now available in the four above mentioned languages:

3. Grievance Procedure Policy
4. Leave Regulations for Professional Services Staff Policy
5. Performance Enhancement Policy
6. Smoking, Alcohol and Substance Abuse Policy
