We would like to inform you about an upcoming construction project that will be taking place in the Merensky 2 Library, at the Hatfield Campus. The construction project will commence on 07 July 2023 and is expected to conclude on 31 October 2023.

This project is aimed at enhancing the safety of the building and ensuring compliance with building regulations. The library will still be open and available for use, and every effort will be made to minimise disruptions and ensure a safe environment.

The main staircase, atrium on levels 5 and 6, and floor 3 (including scaffolding outside the circulation counter and information desk) will be the primary areas affected by the construction. Please use the lifts to access upper or lower floors. Computers on levels 5 and 6 will be temporarily removed and not accessible. Additionally, few computers and printers in the vicinity of the scaffolding area on level 3 will also be relocated.

We will provide regular updates as the project progresses, ensuring that you are informed about any changes or developments.
