Posted on May 15, 2023

UP Museums have conceptualised and defined a new term, “Artology”, a dynamic curatorial perspective that combines collections, archives, conservation and audiences in the framework of a university museum setting. This book navigates one hundred years of collecting at the University of Pretoria, with innovation and flair, and celebrates an abundance of appreciated, valued art and objects under the stewardship of the University. The book accompanies the acclaimed Artology exhibition, currently on at the Javett Art Centre at UP.
