Coming off of the 'Sold Out' success of our first Amalgamation concert, the University of Pretoria Symphony Orchestra (UPSO) and the Pretoria Symphony Orchestra (PSO) welcome you to the second amalgamated concert.

This concert amalgamates two of Pretoria’s leading and only symphony orchestras. By working together, the scope of artistic choices with regard to repertoire and orchestra capacity grows significantly. Not only does this provide the instrumentalists in the orchestra with opportunities to approach compositions that would have been inaccessible, but also brings the listener closer to works that are rarely performed on home turf. 

The conductors are: Mr. Schalk van der Merwe UPSO and Mr. Jaco van Staden (PSO).
