The Special Collections Book of the Week this week is:
Mapungubwe Remembered: Contributions to Mapungubwe by the University of Pretoria, edited by Sian Tiley-Nel
Mapungubwe Remembered is the most comprehensive illustrated book and is the first of its kind to be compiled about the history, research and contributions of the University of Pretoria to Mapungubwe. It is an overview of research by twenty authors, mostly staff and alumni of the University of Pretoria, featuring more than 400 photographs from the Mapungubwe Museum Archives from 1933 to 2011.
