The Department of Library Services has released a new #InstaNovel titled The Trial by Franz Kafka.

InstaNovels are mostly short stories published on the UP Library Instagram page, accompanied by colourful, modern illustrations. The UP Library introduced this project to develop a stronger reading culture amongst students. This is a great opportunity to offer a ‘tech-savvy’ reading alternative suitable for this digital age, which aligns with the Department of Library Services' overall vision: to establish itself as a modern, 21st-century library.

The Trial is a suspense novel that tells the story of Josef K, a man arrested and prosecuted by a remote, inaccessible authority, with the nature of his crime revealed neither to him nor to the reader.
