Accordingly, this is a reminder that performance agreements for 2022 should have been concluded and the next important stage has arrived, it is time for mid-year performance reviews.
The purpose of the mid-year performance review is to:
● Discuss progress made towards the performance agreement and assess whether participants are on track to meeting the performance objectives by year-end;
● Identify and resolve challenges or concerns;
● Review the progress of a personal development plan (PDP); and
● Encourage open, constructive dialogue and exchange of views on progress and development.
The due date for mid-year reviews is 31 July 2022.
Information and resources related to performance management, including how to capture your performance agreement and mid-year review, can be found on the intranet. Login to the portal, click on UP Entities (megamenu on top of the homepage) select Professional Services, go to Human Resources. Once on the microsite select the Performance Management and Staff Development tile on the left side of the image located in the middle of the page.
