You are invited to nominate students, staff, alumni and any other exemplary members in the UP community to be counted among the very best that SA has to offer as part of the Mail & Guardian’s (M&G) 2022 list of top young South Africans.

The call for nominations for the 2022 list is currently open and will close on 01 April 2022. We are asking you to nominate remarkable individuals who you think have grown into industry leaders in their respective fields. The 200 Young South Africans will be announced at a live event as well as on the Mail & Guardian microsite on 30 June 2022.

This annual feature of eminent young South Africans has become one of the most anticipated events on UP’s calendar. The publication’s annual 200 Young South Africans list recognises young people who are actively shaping South Africa and play a pivotal role in building its future.

Each year staff, students, alumni and associates of the University of Pretoria (UP) make an impressive showing on this list, and it’s time for UP to make its mark once again!
