After being apart for about 2 years and counting due to the restrictions necessitated by the COVID-19 pandemic, the university is finally ready to begin welcoming back students gradually.

With the 21^st February 2022 being the official date that lectures begin, some of the university’s departments such as the Financial Aid Office, Career Services, the Department of Enrolment and Student Affairs (DESA) and the Department of Student Affairs (DSA) and FLY@UP, will be taking over the Piazza to welcome you back, but also to give you the opportunity to ask any question you may have.

Remember, the university strongly encourages all its students and staff to get vaccinated. Vaccines protect everyone’s health and significantly reduce severe illness, hospitalisation and death. Vaccines are safe. Those who have doubts or are hesitant should seek more information from medical experts, including staff from our Faculty of Health Sciences. You must continue to wear a mask at all times when in public, wash your hands thoroughly and adhere to the physical distancing measures.
