Dear colleagues,

Some time ago, we put out a call for submissions for our new Re.Search magazine. The pilot edition is now available on Research Matters and is a multimedia-rich magazine with animated elements.

I would like to invite you to send your contributions for the next edition by no later than 28 February 2022.

The theme for Issue 2 is Innovation, which can be interpreted in the broadest possible sense. Academics are invited to submit a piece of about 300 words on how innovation relates to their research and vice versa. The articles will be suitably edited or repurposed for multimedia, and shortlisted pieces will be included in the next issue.

We strongly urge all faculties to be represented with a wide range of submissions.

A few copies will be printed and shared with key strategic stakeholders around the world, including donors and funders, to offer an overview of our cutting-edge, inter-, multi- and transdisciplinary research that provides African solutions to local and global problems, and transforms lives and society.
