The Special Collections Book of the Week this week is:
Ferns of Southern Africa: a comprehensive guide by Neil R Crouch et al.
Ferns of Southern Africa (covering South Africa, Swaziland, Lesotho, Botswana and Namibia) substantially revises and expands on an earlier treatment of the topic by John Burrows. This comprehensive guide is user-friendly and accessible and throws new light on a fascinating category of plants that is little known to the general public. It will enable quick and sure identification of all 321 ferns known to occur in the region.
