UP Vice-Chancellor and Principal Professor Tawana Kupe encourages staff and students to break the silence around gender-based violence through the #SpeakOutUP campaign. “The University of Pretoria is committed to providing a non-sexist and non-discriminatory working, living and study environment for staff and students," he says in this message to launch the 2020 #SpeakOutUP 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence campaign.
