Dear Student,
Owing to the COVID-19 pandemic some of your examinations will be written online whilst others will be the normal on campus invigilated examinations.
Please take note of the following:
a. To access the campus the following is compulsory:
b. For invigilated examinations, students are advised to arrive the campus at least 60 minutes before the
commencement of each examination session.
c. For online examinations, students are advised to set up in a well-lit and quiet room with no disturbances
and to log on at least 10 minutes before the commencement of each examination session to ensure that everything is working well.
d. If you are running late, you will be allowed to start your exam up to 30 minutes after the commencement of the session but you will not be given any additional time to complete the examination.
e. Extraordinary examinations: Students who are unable to write an examination due to unforeseen
circumstances or illness, must upload the applicable, original documents within three (3) working days of
the date of the specific examination that was not written. Students with comorbidities who are unable to
write the invigilated examination should submit a medical certificate within the said period.
f. Perusal of examination scripts: Students will have to make an appointment to peruse their scripts.
Lecturers will inform students of the process that is to be followed in this regard.
Students with disabilities should contact the Disability Unit at the Department of Student Affairs (DSA) to assist them with the necessary arrangements to obtain concession letters and assistive technology. The concession letters should be sent to the lecturer concerned as well as the course coordinator.
