As you are aware, the Hatfield and Hillcrest Campuses have been affected by an interruption to the water supply because of damage to the City of Tshwane supply network near the Hatfield Campus. The expectation is that the water supply will only be restored later today. Frequently when such interruptions occur, once the supply is restored, flooding is experienced in many buildings as taps having been left open during the interruption. You are kindly requested to assist by inspecting the bathrooms and kitchens in your buildings to ensure that no taps have been left open. This will assist us in preventing flooding when the supply returns to normal. Your assistance in the matter will be greatly appreciated.
