Water supply interruption: Prinshof (South) Campus
Buildings affected: Oral and Dental Hospital, International Students’ Apartments, Prinshof IT Test Laboratory, Pathology Building, Animal Laboratory and BSL 3 Laboratory
Date and time: Thursday, 19 July 2018, 10:00 to 16:00
Duration: 6 hours
Please take note of a planned bulk infrastructure maintenance of the water supply to the abovementioned buildings and area.
The reason for the interruption, as given by the University of Pretoria, is scheduled maintenance/upgrading of the bulk water supply pipelines and equipment. The interruption is planned for Thursday, 19 July 2018 from 10:00 to 16:00.
Please fill all available containers with water before the interruption to supplement drinking and washing water and use water sparingly in buildings equipped with reservoir tanks.
Please do not leave taps turned on during the interruption as this may result in serious flooding and damage once the main water supply has been restored.
