Filming on Campus

Posted on February 28, 2018

The Department of University Relations has embarked on an exciting digital marketing project, to visually showcase the University of Pretoria in an accessible, creative and informative manner to local and international students, via the UP Web.

The project entails the production of virtual tours of the University, and will provide insight into daily campus life, the atmosphere, culture, settings, sport, surroundings, students and staff.

Photographers and videographers started filming across all campuses and facilities and will continue to do so for the next two months.  Preliminary filming commenced on Hatfield Campus in December 2017 during the University break.  During February 2018 further filming took place on the Groenkloof, Hatfield, Onderstepoort and Prinshof campuses.

During this filming process at various open and closed locations, it is possible that you may appear in the photographs featured in the 360 degree panoramas. If you do not wish to be captured in any footage please try to avoid these areas during the dates scheduled below.
