The University of Pretoria's JuniorTukkie Office launched yet another project, and this time in support of Grade 10 to 12 learners in the Mamelodi community to improve their marks in mathematics, physical science, life sciences, accounting and English.

On Tuesday, 8 August 2017, JuniorTukkie, in partnership with Dimension Data, launched the Mobile E-learning Station Project at Mamelodi High School. Each mobile station includes a computer equipped with electronic study material and the previous years' exam question papers and memoranda for mathematics, physical science, life sciences, accounting and English. The Kutlwanong (Promaths) Centre, which offers extra classes to learners from all Mamelodi schools, will also benefit from this project by using the Mobile E-learning Stations over weekends and during school holidays.

'We are humbled to be able to support the efforts of teachers through this donation. Education is an important tool to succeed in life and we wish learners every success,' said Nancy Mashele, External Project Coordinator of the JuniorTukkie Office, University of Pretoria.

'We are excited to be receiving the Mobile E-learning Stations from the JuniorTukkie/Dimension Data partnership. This is an opportunity to work harder and to push for higher pass rates in physical science and mathematics,' said Mr Mabunda, Principal of Mamelodi High School.
