There will be a renewed and sharpened focus on work-readiness after graduation at UP as from 2017. The Ready for Work programme is about extending curricular activities to include skills and attributes applicable in the workplace and in obtaining entrepreneurial and other soft skills. The divisions of Career Services and Enterprises UP offer assistance to students through free on-line skills development courses designed to assist students in maximizing their integration into the world of work.

To communicate this, an awareness drive for Career Services is to be launched on Monday, 13 February followed by a Ready for Work campaign. All students will be encouraged to enroll for the courses offered.
