Welcome Day is one of the most important days on the University's academic calendar when we formally receive our first year students and their parents or guardians as part of the UP family and community.

Two welcome sessions will take place on Saturday, 28 January. The first session will commence at 08:00 and the second at 10:00. Guests are requested to take their seats at least 30 minutes before the start of each session. Both sessions will be live streamed to the venues outside the Rembrandt Hall at the UP Sports Campus to accommodate a possible overflow of guests. A live stream link will also be available under the ‘What’s happening?’ section on the University website.

Please remember to keep a close watch on the official channels of the University such as the website www.up.ac.za and the Facebook and Twitter pages for any changes to the schedule and for more information on registrations and orientation.
