The University of Pretoria is proud to announce that the top 100 South African students who received GradStar awards in 2016 included an impressive 31 UP students, which was unmatched by any other university in South Africa.

Students who are considered for the list are subjected to a rigorous, four-part judging process. The key criteria for reaching the finals are leadership potential, work readiness and academic performance. The top 100 are the students who are judged to show the most potential as future leaders in South Africa.

GradStar matches the Top 100 South African graduates to employers and business mentors and provides them with access to each other through a unique programme that focuses on quality connections and complements existing employer programmes.
