The Carlton Cup semi-finals took place at Loftus Versfeld Stadium this past weekend. The tournament reached its climax as Tuks supporters flocked to support the five Tuks teams that were competing. The day kicked off with Tuks 3 (Pumas) playing against Dragons. In a tough encounter, Tuks 3 lost to Dragons by six points.
Tuks 2 (Fezelas) had their backs against the wall as they trailed behind Police at half-time. Fezelas fly-half Tian Nel was awarded a penalty four minutes before half-time, which he scored, winning the game for Tuks by one point.
Tuks U/20 were trailing behind Harlequins by seven points but after some changes were implemented by the coach, the team managed to find their rhythm and eventually beat Harlequins 20–19. The Tuks U/21 team cruised into the final after scoring six tries, managing to defeat a determined Police outfit.
The first team, Tuks 1 were up next against Naka Bulle. At half-time, Tuks 1 was leading by 25 points. Naka Bulle were at the receiving end of Tuks’ numerous tries. Tuks 1 finished things off with a 46-point lead.
The Carlton Cup finals will take place on 13 August 2016. Tuks 1 will be up against Centurion while Tuks 2 (Fezelas) and Tuks U/21 will face Dragons. Tuks U/20 will play against Naka Bulle.

Tuks 1 60–14 Naka Bulle
Tuks 2 (Fezelas) 16–15 Police
Tuks 3 (Pumas) 21–27 Dragons
Tuks u/21 43–22 Police
Tuks u/20 20–19 Harlequins
