At the second EduWeek Awards ceremony, which was held on Wednesday, 29 June 2016 as part of the annual EduWeek celebrations at the Gallagher Convention Centre in Midrand, Enterprises University of Pretoria (Enterprises UP) bestowed an award on a deserving educator who is dedicated to making a difference in education.
To promote excellence across the African education system, the Awards celebrate leading teachers, suppliers, institutions and education professionals by acknowledging contributions ranging from the development of the most innovative and life-changing products and services to the achievements of local heroes who go above and beyond the call of duty to assist their communities.
Enterprises UP found it befitting to sponsor the Educator Who Cares award as it is strongly aligned to our values and ethos, as well as our strong belief that leaders in schools play a central role in moulding the continent’s future leaders.
The award bestowed on Mr Sehoole Moses Sello, principal of the Mankuroane Technical and Commercial Secondary School in the North West, recognises an educator and leader who shows care and concern for the holistic development of his learners and who always goes the extra mile to ensure that they develop into confident and independent individuals.
Enterprises UP would like to congratulate not only Mr Sello, but also all the nominees. We celebrate your achievements and success!
