Please take note of planned interruptions of the power supply in the buildings referred to above.
The interruption is necessitated by emergency maintenance on the electrical equipment of the main substation that supplies the University's buildings (north of Dr Savage Drive), Steve Biko Hospital and Tshwane District Hospital with electricity. Please note that the University is not responsible for maintenance and depends on the Department of Public Works (Hospital) for power.
There will be no standby power available during the interruption in the HW Snyman North and HW Snyman South buildings. Standby power will be available in the Health Sciences Building. The interruption is planned for Saturday, 11 June 2016 from 07:00 to 16:00.
Please switch off sensitive electronic equipment timeously and disconnect power leads from wall outlets.
