The Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education (PGCHE) presented by the Department of Humanities Education at UP, is a practice based programme that has been presented at the institution for the past 30 years. The programme aims to empower higher education, training and development practitioners to facilitate and assess learning in an innovative way and has been popular among UP staff in the past. We would once again like to invite you to enroll.

PURPOSE OF STUDY

To empower higher education, training and development practitioners to facilitate and assess learning in an innovative way

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

  • A bachelor's degree from a recognised university; or
  • A national diploma; or
  • A Grade 12 certificate with university exemption as well as another M+3 qualification and appropriate experience deemed adequate by the Dean for admission to the course.

DURATION OF COURSE

The duration of the course is one year. Classes are presented on weekday evenings between 17:00 and 20:15.
