Due to urgent and critical upgrades required to the ITS SAN disk storage infrastructure, all UP IT applications/systems will be unavailable on the above-mentioned dates.
This applies to all campuses.
This scheduled downtime is unavoidable and the most suitable time has been identified at the start of the recess, on the 18th and 19th of March 2016. The maintenance tasks will commence at 18:00 on Friday, 18 March 2016. The expected completion time is 10:00 on Saturday, 19 March, but should any issues be encountered and a roll-back be required, this will be completed by 22:00 on Saturday, 19 March 2016.
All UP IT applications / systems will be unavailable during the above mentioned period, including but not limited to, telephony services, GroupWise email system, wireless network access, Internet access, the UP Portal, ClickUP, QuestUP, and all the PeopleSoft applications (Financials, HR, CRM and Campus Student Administration).
