As you are aware, we have had a tumultuous start to 2016. At this year’s annual academic opening event I intend to brief you on the events surrounding the protests and demonstrations that affected our institution and our lives since the beginning of January.

Please join me in the Aula on Wednesday, 10 February at 11:30 when I shall provide an overview of recent events and the implications for the University.
