Science is Fun Holiday programme - book now

Sci-Enza will again host the very popular 'Science is Fun' holiday programme for primary school learners (grade 1 – 6) from 8–11 December during the December 2015 holiday.

Theme 1: Batty about BATS – the truth about these fascinating creatures

Come and learn more about bats and why they are protected animals in South Africa. You will have the opportunity to touch some live bats, identify the bats in our area, do echo-location, make 'batty' crafts and much more!

Date: Tuesday 8 December OR Thursday 10 December (the same programme is presented on each day)

 

Theme 2: That’s how we Roll – the science behind fast cars.

This programme is filled with fun activities to learn about engines, combustion, gears and wheels. Innovative workshops, hands-on activities and games will be part of the programme to make every boy and girl a future Formula 1 driver, mechanic or engineer!

Date: Wednesday 9 December OR Friday 11 December (the same programme is presented on each day)

 

The cost is R60 per child per theme.

No snacks included: Children should please bring their own lunchbox.
 
Time: 08:30 – 13:00

Ticket sales open on Tuesday 1 December. Due to the popularity of our programme a maximum of 4 tickets per person will be allowed.

Cash only (no EFT or card facilities available). No telephonic bookings will be accepted.
Tickets are limited to 55 children per day.

Please note: The programme is presented in English with Afrikaans facilitators on site.
