Neuroscience Day 2015

Posted on April 29, 2015

The Neuroscience Research Group, part of the Institute for Cellular and Molecular Medicine at the University of Pretoria (UP), cordially invites you to the 6th annual Neuroscience Day. Join us for an exciting event devoted to better understanding the intricate network that controls our senses, cognition and behaviour.

As the neurosciences start moving towards centre stage because of rapidly evolving developments in cellular and molecular medicine, researchers at UP – through their involvement in several facets of the neurosciences from both a basic research and a clinical perspective – continue to ensure that work in this exciting and highly relevant area is well represented at UP.

The objective of Neuroscience Day is to bring together researchers from different disciplines to share their research findings and future aspirations. The event is evolving into a regional initiative, with much interest from neighbouring institutions and even the private sector. The aim of the event is therefore not only to provide a platform for showcasing neuroscience research at UP, but also to encourage collaboration among different groups at the University and beyond.
