Invitation: 'Digital learning in the future: the four-dimensional interactive textbook'

To celebrate World Book Day, the Department of Library Services invites you to attend a presentation by Prof Tahir Pillay on the first South African digital interactive scientific textbook.

Prof Pillay is the Chief Specialist, Professor and Head of the Department of Chemical Pathology, and Director of the Division of Clinical Pathology, the Clinical Pathology training programme at the University of Pretoria and the National Health Laboratory Service at the Steve Biko Academic Hospital.

This highly interactive and dynamic textbook was released internationally in 51 counties in December 2014. You will have the opportunity to view examples of textbooks of the future and see how they can be used across the disciplines of science, mathematics and the arts!
