UP Staff Bootcamp Competition

Posted on March 27, 2015

If you enjoy high intensity indoor or outdoor activity, bootcamp classes are designed to build strength and fitness through short (maximum 1 hour) but intense interval training.

The competition is open to all UP staff. It will run over a four-week period and consists of three contact sessions (training sessions) per week. The training sessions will cater for all levels of fitness. There are weekly challenges (and prizes) and records are kept for the overall winner (announced after four weeks).

The competition includes pre-participation (base line) fitness and anthropometry tests. In order to measure improvement, the same tests will be repeated at the end of the boot camp. The winner is determined by best percentage improvement.
