Please take note of a planned municipal interruption of the water supply to the buildings and area referred to above.
The reason for the interruption, as informed by the City of Tshwane, is scheduled maintenance/upgrading of the municipal main water supply pipelines. City of Tshwane indicated that the interruption of water supply is avoided at all costs, however, there may be interruptions from time to time. The interruption is planned for Thursday 19 March 2015, 07:00 to 16:00.
We kindly request all personnel to fill available containers with water prior to the interruption in order to supplement drinking and washing water, as well as for personnel and students to use water sparingly on this day in the buildings that has water reservoir tanks.
All persons are requested not to leave taps open during the interruption, as this may result in serious flooding and damage once the main water supply has been restored.
